European Congress: Present and future role of forest resources in the socio-economic development of rural areas.

On the occasion of the International Year of Forests, the Italian Rural Network, in collaboration with the European Network for Rural Development, proposes a two day event to describe, analyze, discuss and get acquainted with the present and future actions provided for forests and the forest sector by EU, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and proposing ideas and suggestions for future (Common) European Programs.
Authors interested in presenting case-studies and experience related to the congress topics are asked to submit an abstract following the instructions reported on the website: www.reterurale.it/romaforest2011
